Dan Wesson’s ECP features a 4-inch Match Grade bull barrel, forged aluminum frame and stainless steel slide that combine to create a 1911-style pistol that conceals well but is a tack-driver at the range.  The aluminum frame keeps the weight to 29 ounces and the tapered G10 grips provide shooters with smaller hands an easier reach to the trigger.  The slide features a brass-beaded front sight, a U-notch rear sight and a top rib that knocks down glare.  The ECP features a flat wire recoil spring rated for 15,000 rounds–3 times the rating of a typical 1911 spring setup.  In short, Dan Wesson’s ECP is an ideal 1911 for everyday carry.
