The Heritage Barkeep is a compact and stylish 6-shot single-action revolver that combines classic design with modern features. With its 2″ barrel, distinctive appearance and reliable performance, the Barkeep is suitable for both recreational shooting and concealed carry.

Key features of the Heritage Barkeep:

1. Caliber: The Barkeep is chambered in .22 LR, a popular and widely available caliber known for its low recoil and affordability. The .22 LR round is perfect for training, plinking, target shooting and small game hunting.

2. Magnum Option: The Barkeep’s cylinder is easily switched to one that accommodates the .22Mag (WMR) cartridge. This optional cylinder is available from Heritage at a reasonable cost.

3. Capacity: The Barkeep has a 6-round cylinder capacity, providing you with ample rounds for various shooting activities. This capacity allows for multiple shots before needing to reload, enhancing your shooting experience.

4. Compact Size: The Barkeep features a compact frame and 2″ barrel, making it easy to carry and conceal. Its small dimensions and lightweight zinc alloy frame make it an excellent choice for those seeking a reliable revolver for everyday carry.

5. Single-Action Operation: The Barkeep operates in single-action (SAO) mode, requiring the hammer to be manually cocked before each shot. This single-action mechanism provides a light and crisp trigger pull, resulting in improved accuracy and precise shot placement.

6. Birdshead Grip: The Barkeep is characterized by its unique birdshead grip design, which offers a comfortable and secure hold. The birdshead grip, resembling the shape of a bird’s head, provides an ergonomic grip angle and enhances control during shooting. An American flag is featured on the grip of this model Barkeep.

7. Fixed Sights: This revolver features fixed sights, consisting of a front blade sight and a rear notch sight. The fixed sight setup provides a simple and reliable aiming system, aiding in target acquisition and accurate shooting.

8. Steel Cylinder and Barrel: The Barkeep’s zinc alloy frame is mated to a steel cylinder and steel barrel.  This combination ensures longevity and reliability.

9. Simulated CCH: This model of the Barkeep features a simulated color case-hardened finish on its zinc alloy frame. The finish works nicely with the black finish on the cylinder and barrel.

10. Thumb Safety: The revolver is equipped with a thumb safety mounted on the left side of the frame. In addition to using this safety, Heritage recommends the shooter carry the revolver with the hammer resting over an empty chamber. These steps will provide added peace of mind and reducing the risk of accidental discharges.

11. Easy Cylinder Loading: The Barkeep features the traditional loading system for a single-action revolver, a loading gate on the right side of the frame.

12. Lightweight Design: The Barkeep’s lightweight design makes it comfortable to carry for extended periods without causing fatigue. The compact and lightweight nature of the revolver ensures easy maneuverability and discreet carry options.

13. Heritage Quality: As part of the Heritage Manufacturing lineup, the Barkeep exemplifies the company’s commitment to quality and craftsmanship. Each revolver is meticulously crafted to meet strict standards, ensuring reliable performance and durability.

The Heritage Barkeep revolver is a distinctive and reliable firearm that stands out from the crowd. With its .22 LR chambering, compact size and unique birdshead grip, it offers a blend of style, performance and functionality.
