The Rapala X-Rap Countdown is a small sinking minnow for depth control and finesse baitfish presentations.

It is useful when small predators are feeding below the surface and a floating lure rides too high.

Count it down to the lane, then retrieve it with small twitches and controlled pauses.

A tiny sinking minnow gets a lot of bites on the drop or just after restarting, so keep contact rather than letting it freefall into snags.

It is strongest around drains, streams, harbour walls, light-game zones, and clear edges where fish are eating small bait.

In heavy chop or dirty water, a louder lure may be easier for fish to track.

TARGET SPECIES: bass, trout, perch, sea bass, flatfish, chub, pike, and predators feeding around small to mid-sized baitfish.
