The Standard Horizon GX1410W Eclipse Series 25W Fixed Mount VHF Radio is a compact, reliable marine communication solution designed for recreational and commercial boating. This Class D VHF transceiver delivers dependable voice communication, essential safety features, and rugged construction suitable for coastal cruising, inland waterways, and everyday marine use. 

Built to meet ITU-R M493-16 Class D DSC standards, the GX1410W includes a separate Channel 70 receiver, ensuring you remain aware of Digital Selective Calling (DSC) distress traffic even while operating on other channels.  The ultra-bright, high-resolution full dot-matrix display makes channel selection and menu navigation easy in both daytime and low-light conditions. 

The radio features an intuitive E2O Easy-to-Operate menu system, programmable soft keys, and NMEA 0183 input/output connections for integration with compatible GPS/chartplotter systems.  NOAA weather channels—including weather alert—keep you informed of changing conditions, while programmable scan, priority scan, and dual watch functions help you monitor multiple channels efficiently.  With a submersible IPX8 waterproof rating (up to 1.5 m for 30 minutes), the GX1410W is built to withstand the wet and demanding marine environment.

⚠️ Installation Note: GPS Connectivity

Since the GX1410W does not have a built-in GPS, its Distress Button will not transmit your coordinates unless it is connected to a GPS source. You will need to connect the NMEA 0183 (Green and Blue wires) from the radio’s pigtail to the “NMEA Out” of your GPS unit.
